Climbing
The proximity of Emel's climbing sites is unparalleled: the indoor boulder and the "Slye" wall are within walking distance of our base camp; the Proximus wall is just a few metres from the parking lot; and the Sérénité parking lot is less than 5 km by car from the village centre or, for the more experienced, 6.5 km on foot via the trails!
Initiation
The Club de montagne et d'escalade de Lanaudière offers a multitude of supervised activities to introduce you to climbing in complete safety. The choice of site depends on the level of participants, and all equipment is provided!
Free practice
Important: the sites are affiliated with the Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l'escalade. You need to be a member to climb them.
Jean-Antoine Leprohon Center
The municipality of Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie, in partnership with the Club de montagnes et d'escalade de Lanaudière, has built an indoor bouldering wall. The structure offers routes for all levels and is an ideal training ground!
Proximus
The walk to the Proximus wall is just a few minutes! It's also ideal for animation, because of its accessibility and the ease with which you can set up windmills. The large slab area is located a little further away.
Serenity
The Sérénité site is very interesting for its vertical or overhanging climbing style. A small stream runs along the base of the cliff, making for an enchanting setting.
